BAMMA are pleased to announce their next event will feature none other than Bob ‘The Beast’ Sapp in a heavyweight contest against British brawler Stav ‘Crazy Bear’ Economou!
December will see the best in mixed martial arts action hit Newcastle-upon-Tyne when BAMMA 5 takes place at the Metro Arena!
Britain’s biggest mixed martial arts organisation is bringing their all-action event to the North of England for the first time with BAMMA 5.
Headlining the event are heavyweights Bob ‘The Beast’ Sapp and Stav ‘Crazy Bear’ Economou.
World-famous MMA star Bob ‘The Beast’ Sapp is a man of many talents; movie star, NFL player, professional wrestler and kickboxer, Sapp is a gigantic 6’4” fighter who tips the scales at 150kg (24 stone). With a pro record of 11-6-1, Sapp is known for his explosive style and crushing power.
Stav ‘Crazy Bear’ Economou is a 24-year-old British-Cypriot fighter with a 10-1-1 record. A wild and unpredictable fighter, 70% of Economou’s victories have come inside the first round. At 6’1” and 114kg (18 stone), ‘Crazy Bear’ will have a size disadvantage when facing ‘The Beast’, but with power in both fists and a ruthless ability to finish fights he’ll be sure to make it a fight to remember!
