I'm down.. here's my winners, methods, rounds (and short synopsis since I can't help myself);

Brock Lesnar vs. Shane Carwin (Lesnar, TKO, round 2)

I really have no idea what will happen in this fight. It's a collosal main event though and will be fun. Both guys are huge, athletic and very good/great wrestlers. I think Carwin will tag Lesnar in the first round but won't put him to sleep.. but he'll be wobbled. Similarly, Lesnar gets at least a takedown during the round. 2nd round Carwin gets tired due to never being out of the first round. Lesnar gets him down and pounds him out for the TKO win.


-Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Chris Leben (Sexyama, UD)

The sexy one likes to study his opponents and didn't get a chance to here. I see him going the takedown root while trying to stay in the pocket as much as possible to mix things up. Leben will go for it and honestly does have a chance of pulling off the big win with a knockout. Sexyama is more technical though and I think he'll continually outpoint Leben standing up and on the ground en route to a UD in a decent to good fight.


-Chris Lytle vs. Matt Brown (Brown, UD)

This is my upset pick. Lytle is the favourite, but I'm down with the Brown. I think he can hang with him standing and use his hustle and clinch work to wear Lights Out down and gain the advantage.


-Stephan Bonnar vs. Krzysztof Soszynski (Soszynski, UD)

Welcome to another addition of "I refuse to evolve", starring Stephan Bonnar. That, and he's clearly never heard of a gameplan either. So he'll go in there and swing wildly (when BJJ is his forte anyways) and lose but DAMN what a warrior!! How annoying.. that TUF 1 finale fight was the best thing that ever happened to him. Sos will bloody him up but Bonnar will take it and make it to the decision.


-Kurt Pellegrino vs. George Sotiropoulos (Sotiropoulos, RNC, 3rd round)

Sotiropoulos is making a case for himself! Pellegrino is a tough gamer but I think he will fall victim to George's ground game. Both are fast guys. Look for Sotiropoulos to keep a step ahead most of the time and finally catch him in the third.

a few notes:

- It took me forever to make up my mind on Brock vs Carwin. lol But i think his experience and punching power will pull him through it. I could see Brock winning also and really wouldn't be that surprised. If he can drag Carwin into the later rounds who knows how Carwin will react, that will be Brocks best chance. imo

- I think Akiyama would be wise to try to beat Leben on the ground and use his Grappling and not get into a Brawl with Leben, he has that one punch KO power and it only takes one from him. Akiyama please don't Brawl with Leben. lol

- Lytle vs Brown will be a sick fight but Lytle has already beat him and is just the all around better fighter. Still look forward to Brown putting on a tough effort it just won't be enough. imo

- I want Bonnar to win the rematch because of the BS stoppage last time. I just hope this fight is as entertaining as the last one was, and it probably will be.

- I got Sotiropolous taking this fight by third round sub i just think he is all around better than Pelligrino. I like both guys and look forward to what should be an epic grappling match.
