Toby Imada vs. Hiroki Shishido June5th 110506

The first fight for the June 5th “SHOOT BOXING 2011 act.3 -SB169-” event was announced today.

Shoot Boxing legend Hiroki Shishido will take on MMA fighter and S-cup 2010 runner-up Toby Imada.

Shishido had a rough end to 2010, losing his fight before the S-cup and then losing against Buakaw in the first round of the S-cup. He came back from that setback earlier this year however when he got revenge on Thai Bovy Sor. Udomson in a 5 round fight.

Imada was the surprise of last year’s S-cup, making it to the final. Following that night he has been active in the Bellator Season 4 Lightweight Tournament in which he reached the semifinal where he was stopped by Brazilian Patricky Freire.

Don't think Imada pulls this one out. Still thinks he takes Shishido to a razor-thin decision, though.

I respect the hell out of the guy, but in MMA, he's a "submission guy". Eddie and Patricky fucked him up pretty bad. I assumed Andy would have been able to as well.
