Actually people tend to underestimate the division.
There is a lot of parody outside of the Klitschkos.
They're so good, they make the rest of HW's seem like cans.

Alex E has the best boxing in the HW division.
JDS would fare worse.

HW is weak... at least compared to previous HW divisions... but its still stronger than MMA and Kickboxing

^^That guy he fought is a decent prospect, according to chatter. He was the amateur russian army champ or something. Hari is also a much more talented stand up fighter than any mma guy


he wont beat a klitschko but he will have a big size advantage over Sasha, Haye, Chambers, Chagaev, Adamek, Peter, Arreola etc etc

dont forget he is only 26, Povetkin and Vitali both came from kickbox so its not impossinb;e

Badr is one of the best hw athletes i have ever seen in combat sports

I believe (and I think everyone else does too) Hari has the athleticism and ability to be really good but theres two roadblocks.
1. does he have the chin?
2. does he have the discipline to Box 10 or 12 rounds?

Hands wise, he's still behind those you mentioned.
He would have to abandoned what he known in KB.
Re-work his mechanics.
20 years of pure Boxing vs 2-4 years of pure Boxing.
Badr is a hell of a fighter, but we have to be realistic of what he can do.

2 very good questions, I think if he fought more defensively his chin would hold up better. he goes all out and leaves himself wide open

good point also, no matter what happens im sure it will be fun to spectate

Out of all the obstacles, his chin is by far the biggest.

You can work on technique, and eventually get used to the different dynamic of boxing, but man, he gets touched on the chin hes going down.

I guess that's part of what makes him exiting. Despite knowing his limitation in that area, he still goes berserker.

It works in K1 as it seem kickboxers are a bit more wild, and leave themselves open with greater frequency. The short time limit encourages this as well.

badr starts unloading , realises boxers have chin and good defense , gets panicked starts trowing kicks. people still talk like the gerges fight was a mistery , badr trew all the bombs he got and started to gass , while gerges not only not being fased , but starting to trow something of his own. hari panicked when he realised he couldn't ko gerges at will , for him that's the stuff of nightmares , dreaming of trowing everything and not even faze people lol , i have those dreams all the time too.
