He's injured, and very much nearing the end of his career. At this point he's basically working on guts, determination, and... well... being Taker. Depending on who his opponent is as WM, this next one might be his last. While I'm 100% certain Taker would lay down for anyone as long as it was good business, there's only a handful that I think he'd be willing to put over in his final match.
