As I said there - it looks like a Reem vs Semmy final.... FEG have thrown their boy to the wolves (Kyo) he is too small for Sem, and neither Aerts nor Mo have enough circa 2010 to fuck with High Tower.

Reem should get by Spong and the Saki/Ghita winner (awesome q-final fight btw) and will likely face his teammate in the final.

Here's the vids of the fighters picking. Disappointed at Reem for going with Spong, but it's really Spong's own fault for avoiding Semmy. Much, MUCH respect for Jienotsu. Zambo was literally the worst match-up for him. Once again, much respect. I'm really looking forward to these GP's after this weekend.

It's not like it's an insult to Gokhan Saki or Ghita - shit, they put on two of the most impressive performances of the Final 16 the other night.... both are warriors, great kicks, KO power....

I honestly don't see the winner of that fight (which is the best q-final match btw) beating Reem.... who is in monstrous form.

I also don't see the LEGEND Aerts being able to get by Sem, circa 2010.... but that is no disrespect to him either. He is just too old and battle worn, now.....

This is all opinion anyway - Kyo could shock the world, Spong could beat Reem, Mo could ice Peter with the overhand right from hell.... who knows? Fightsports are crazy business

I'm just watching through them and I have to say once more: fuck the UFC. All these fighters are respectful, none of them are talking about "knocking him out cold" or "this is gonna be a war", "there's bad blood between us"... These guys keep it real - yet you know they WILL try to knock the other out and you know it WILL be a war. Unlike the Zuffa pussies who Lay 'n Pray or Run 'n Edgar after thrashtalking the other.

In the form he is in... I aint discounting Reem either.... Sem was in blistering form last WGP, he won it in record time, but on Sat he looked like the old, robotic Semmy that FEG hated so much as champ that they blatantly robbed him to stop him winning the 2008 WGP.

Im sorry but I dont agree with Semmy Looking robotic...he fought a great opponent who had a great game plan

im not questioning you whether your a noob or not,you have very good knowledge...but first and foremost you are an MMA guy and have an allegiance towards the MMA fighter

if saki and reem meet in the finals i can see Saki being too agressive and quick for the reem

Personally I am not crowning AO K-1 GP champ just yet, he can get caught just like anyone else in this tournament.

With that said the match ups look good, Dec 11 is going to be fucking amazing as always. Looking forward to it.

The MAX Final 8 looks fantastic. Even with the lack of Buakaw and Souwer. I still wish Pajonsuk took Sagadpet's place in the Final 16 though. He looked fantastic.

Zambidis/Nagashima is the exact fight I wanted to see. It could be another great brawl but I don't think Nagashima has the chin to take as many as shots as Chahid did. Zambo makes a statement with a TKO win in this one.

Petrosyan/Kraus is for the right of MAX champion, in my opinion. Kraus has looked fantastic since his loss to Petrosyan last year (maybe outside of the Nakajima fight). Petrosyan should look much better with a kickboxer deserving of being in the GP. I ultimately believe Giorgio outclasses Kraus to a 29-28 decision.

Sato/Glogowski. Meh. Sato should utilize his reach to handily win a decision.

DRAGO/Khamal is a very interesting match. Khamal fought a good match against Kyshenko and DRAGO looked quited impressive, albeit against Su Hwan Lee. DRAGO has been to inconsistent for my taste and I don't think that bodes well for a hungry, young fighter such as Khamal. I honestly can't decide on a victor for this bout.
