No Holds Barred: The Vitali Klitschko-Shannon Briggs Tragic Farce
On this edition of No Holds Barred, host Eddie Goldman analyzes the one-sided beating by WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko of Shannon Briggs on Saturday, October 16, in Hamburg, Germany. Briggs managed to survive 12 rounds of punishment from Klitschko, but, according to news reports, had to be hospitalized and taken to an intensive care unit in Hamburg after the fight. We thus discuss the background to this fight and what it says about boxing.

That fight was a sickening joke.
What was the point of going past the 10th.... heck the 7th round?
It was as they were feeding the hometown fans a one sided beating!
It seems whenever it's a big fight, Boxing referees (Unlike ones in MMA or K1) are incapable or ....unwilling to stop a fight, no matter how badly a fighter is getting beaten.

Also Wladimir Klitschko beating of Samuel Peter last month (which took place at the same arena as Vitali vs briggs) was another fight which should have been stopped before the KO in the 12th.. another boxing farce

apologies your right,
nevertheless it was extremely one-sided. Peters cornerman was threatening to stop the fight from the 8th round onward. You could literally see that KO coming 2 rounds beforehand.
