Hesdy Gerges Vs. Daniel Ghita. Who you got and why.

Now that Gerges is getting out of jail and the fight is back on lets get some discussion going.

Ghita Impressed me with his KO of Zimmerman. He also did well in the Saki fight. I am giving Hesdy the edge in this one though. He is quicker and a good fighter. But Ghita does have the low kick of death. If he can focus on hurting one of Hesdy's legs and slow him down he can win.

Ghita got him. Too technical. Defense too good.

After seeing what old semmy did to hesdy I think ghita can do much the same, but even better.

very true. I would never count hesdy out but I think after this fight Ghita will walk away with the belt....then him fighting Hari would be inevitable.

I'm going with Daniel Ghita in this one. Although Hesdy is taller, Daniel carries a larger build and comes into this fight with more power, IMO.

Ghita's kicks will cut you in half if you're not careful and his hands are dangerous. Just ask Errol Zimmerman.

Either way, it's gonna be a great fight.

I'm rooting for Ghita, I think Ghitas leg kicks will be a problem. I'd like to see him use his hands in this fight also.

Gerges put up a better fight vs Semmy than Ghita did, but I gotta go with Ghita. I think his leg kicks and defense will be too much for Gerges. Not to mention, Gerges is coming into this fight with a lot of distractions outside the ring. Even if it didn't affect his training time all that much, I'm sure it weighed pretty heavily on his mind.

Should be a fantastic fight though, the entire It's Showtime card that night is awesome.
