And no Petro? ehehe
EDIT: noticed it was a Japan tournament. Maybe Jieontsu can win again - and avenge his loss to Kraus

I doubt kraus will be in the japan tournament. not only is he one of the most established names, but he's not japanese. probably just a super fight.
of those listed, I'd expect Nagashima, Morita, Kenta, Yuya, Go Yokoyama and Kido to be in the tournament itself. I'd say Yoshi and Nashiro would be, too, but considering they lost in the first round of the krush tournament and aren't yuya yamamoto, I'd guess they're more likely in a reserve fight than not, especially since Shintaro Matsukura and Yutaro Yamauchi weren't listed here and they did better in the tournament. Nakajima, too.
Morita is a GREAT addition to the tournament btw. he beat Soichiro Miyakoshi a few months ago and took the vacant RISE belt by KOing Yukihiko Komiya. he's like 9-0 or 10-0 with 5 KOs

HDNet doesn't have the world MAX tourney live, so I doubt the japan tourney will be. it'll probably be live streamed. if not, best bet would be staying up all night and waiting for the condensed version to be aired on TBS in shitty quality on keyhole tv. I did that last year and it was actually fine because the fights were so good, but it was a pain in the ass.
ustream stream > youtube stream btw

Not a World MAX GP but I'm not one to complain about it if we get Kraus, Jienotsu, Kubo, and Morita all in one night.
I actually like how K-1 isn't rehashing the same names for every Japan tourney and calling it a new GP by just featuring new match-ups. I'm glad they're finally injecting new blood in the format.

So you're saying they had no choice, otherwise we would be seeing the same exact kickboxers lol. Now that's the last decade of K1 we have all come to love.
By fight night, I expect the matches to be Kraus/HINATA, Jienotsu/YOSHI, Kido/Nashiro, Morita/Yokohama, Yamamoto/Kenta, Kubo/Hiroya, Saiga/Uematsu
Re: K-1 WORLD MAX 2011 -70kg Japan Tournament FINAL
basically, yeah. they've seemed to develop krush as a bit of a feeder league, but it's really only a home for mostly Japanese talent.
Kubo and Hiroya fought at last year's world MAX finals, so I doubt they'd fight again. it'd be nice to see Uematsu back in K-1. personally, I'd like to see Saiga-Ozaki and, if at all possible, Kubo vs Son Hyun Lee

Forgot about that fight. Figured they would give him a favor for his fight against Yamato. I guess he has a better chance of being on one of the WGP cards against a Takeuchi or Matsumoto.
I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVEEEEEE, if Kubo fought Son Hyun Lee but you got me so worked up with the possibilities of the Supernova tournament that I'm not quite sure if I want this yet lol. It would be nice to see Uematsu placed here.
Saiga/Ozaki would be a wet dream. Kicks galore. Excellent match-up there, props to you.

yeah, the first round of the Supernova tournament is like 2 weeks or so after this card, so if Lee were fighting in it I doubt he'd take a fight with the top 63kg fighter in Japan just before it.

Wish Jienotsu could have been in the GP instead, guess they're grooming him for the WGP if that happens to go down.
Should be an awesome card. I think Kraus could have trouble with Morita. but outside of that he should be able to win the whole thing. I think Yuya will be too beat up come final (anyone on that side of the bracket, really)

Re: K-1 WORLD MAX 2011 -70kg Japan Tournament FINAL
Kraus will easily win this tournament...Only Japanese fighter who would give him trouble is Hinata( and Sato) and thats because Hinata is a very tall southpaw with amazing kicks who would just kick on the outside and clinch every-time Albert came in.
Kraus will beat the fuck out of Yuya/rest of the field.
