Hesdy isn't in the tournament, he's in a super fight.

***SPOILER***
Yea it's a superfight, not tournament.
You're sleeping on Rico Verhoeven who just won a very very close desicion against Gerges..Should've been a 4th round in my opinion.
Rico Verhoeven will be fighting Errol Zimmerman (who's 1 fight away from winning this tournament) on Jan 28 2012
Edit :
Errol Zimmerman won the tournament, defeating :
Sebastian van Thielen via 1st round KO
Stefan Leko via 1st round KO
Roman Kleibl via 2nd round KO

Yea they were ridiculous, that was a close fight tho i thought it should've been an extra round..
But they fucked Leko over too, giving him an extra round in a fight he clearly won.

Yeah, then he fought Errol who had literally cruised to a first round knockout in his fight. Leko was banged up and looked like he was carrying a rib or abdominal injury going into the semi-final

Re: World Grand Prix
True, but it is a grand prix tho..big chance something like that will happen.
Errol fought well tho..looking sharp lately

Re: World Grand Prix
He is.
"Sharp" is something Leko definitely doesn't look anymore. True, he equalled JLB (and arguably would have won if it had been 3min rounds) but his losses since are garbage, and he fought less than a week after this Grand Prix, and lost again (unsurprisingly)
As a fan, I hope he rests and recuperates over xmas, then trains hard in the new year, comes back healthy and determined, and takes some interesting fights that wont kill him at this stage. He's slowed down, and has had a tough career

Re: World Grand Prix
Yea he should take it easy and take the rest he needs but he might just be picking up a few final paychecks before he retires.
If he is not planning on taking it easier and keeps going like this I hope he does retire soon.

Re: World Grand Prix
Leko is havin fun , he just cruises all over Europe , picking checks , destroyin fresh pussies , having a ton of adoring fans. He had developed quite the taste for Romania , he's a very cool guy , one of the coolest guy you can meet. I was surprised he entered the ring in the Zimmerman fight , i had a huge bet with somebody that he won't take the fight with Errol , and just fake an injury. No point in hurting yourself with that beast , ruining your vacation and party times. But , i guess he said 'fuck it' and went with it. Bad move if u ask me , he doesn't have anything left to prove , he had a good career. Maybe he tought the promoters would give him shit for doing it , and since he's in love with da romanian pussy catalogue , he went along with it and fought Errol.

Leko is da man. First K-1 rules fighter I supported, as I started watching it on Eurosport during his best run in '03 when he was K-1's best, and I'm still a fan.
