No Holds Barred: Bob Mayeri Reviews Electrifying 2012 NCAA Div. I Wrestling Championships

On this edition of No Holds Barred, host Eddie Goldman once again speaks with our long-time colleague and wrestling correspondent, Bob Mayeri, to review the 2012 NCAA Div. I Wrestling Championships, which took place March 15-17 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
We spoke with Bob Mayeri, who covered this event matside in St. Louis, by phone Sunday night. We discussed the ten individual national championship matches as well as the team champions, Penn State, which won for the second year in a row. We examined why this event remains so spectacular year after year, what changes need to be made to improve the marketing and presentation of college wrestling, the noted increase this year in winners from colleges in the eastern part of the U.S., the new attendance records set this year, and much more.
