Pro-Wrestler who could make a name in "other" martial art dicipline
We all know when it comes to a fight pro-wrestling is strongest, but which wrestler where ready to proof that with enough success to be worth mentioned. (I did not count wrestling (freestyle or greco roman) because if so this list could be endless.
Ken Shamrock
Maybe the biggest draw in the earlier UFC-days and a legend.

You can love or not hate him, but he came in as a brawler (with some wrestling) and destroyed many martial art masters so easy. I liked also his WCW run, even if his feud with Goldberg could have been longer and better.
Championships:
* UFC 6: Clash of the Titans Runner-Up
* UU 96 – Ultimate Ultimate 1996 Runner-Up
Tony Halme "Ludvig Borga"
Awesome heel in the early 90's of the WWE. To bad it seems he was a lunatic in privat life, but may he found his rest.

None of them, unless they already have a base in a style.

Not really, in many countries pro-wrestling comes from catch-wrestling which is a legit grapplingstyle.
Just look at Kenny

Ken also trained for professional fights.
The average Puro guy was embarrassed every time they stepped into the Pride ring. To even compare them to guys like Shamrock or Sakuraba would be crazy.
