Today's WWE is a shell of its former self... watered down shit with Cena leading the pack. I was youtubbin' and damn, there won't ever be another Rock..





I don't think there's ever been another wrestler to get the fans hyped up during his promos, any segment with the Rock was entertaining as hell. Cheers to the most electrifying man in sports entertainment.

Yea, I think I'd be inclined to agree with this. There's very few guys who were even, y'know, close to what Rock was. In North America at least.

agreed. i havent watch pw since 02-03ish. probably surf pw sites when im really bored. the only time i owuld tune in is when a big star is returning ala bret hart. and maybe i would fuck w/ wm but probably a negative.

The only other wrestler I can think of that always made me buy whatever he was selling was Mick Foley. From "HE HURT ME, MOMMY!" to the Rock n Sock connection, it just made fuckin' sense.

Do note the presence of The Rock in the equation. Coincidence? Not bloody likely.

I have the Rock on a level that several guys reached during those years.... 1996-2001.... it's not that my generation grew up, it's just that the truly charismatic entertainers have vanished.
