While I am excited for an actual K-1 event announcement, I am disappointed with the fact that this sounds to be a Japan only tournament. I expected a world event as they touted last year, i'm not surprised though as they could probably only afford Japanese fighters.

All I ask for is the inclusion of Koya Urabe this time around.

Why is it still called MAX if it isn't Middleweight?

Idk about the whole MAX part but It's Showtime calls their divisions 70MAX or 77MAX for example because 77kg is the weight limit.

I like that they're doing another -63kg one though. Last year's was exciting as hell and honestly I bet they'd have trouble assembling a normal MAX or heavyweight tournament because not many would wanna fight for them with the not paying issues lately

Tetsuya Yamato, Yuta Kubo, Kizaemon Saiga, mainly the primary -63kg guys in K-1. I really doubt they'll be getting any non Japanese guys for this. #1 at that weight is Saenchai hands down
