Yeah that was one of my troll threads in the sherdog heavies lol...... he WAS born in england, but I knew I'd get responses of "stupid asshole, he's dutch" and it led to... oh, around 40 pages of arguments

shit man - how can you not admire & respect The Reem even more after this vid? this man is on a fucking mission & that is to fucking FIGHT straight the fuck up. his fighting spirit is like no one elses & needs to be acknowledged by all MMArtists & fans alike.

I made a few sherdog threads about how Reem was not the same fighter he was when he lost ten times as a Light-Heavyweight... or even when Sergei avenged his defeat, and put Reem through the ropes. Of course, sherdog in their infinite wisdom deletes all my threads and accounts, just to keep stupidity on the topic of all things Reem at a high level..... but basically, Reem was in his early twenties in his early Pride days, and gave some top fighters a good go of it before gassing....

He is now in his physical prime at 30 (Randy Couture had not even debuted in MMA at that age, Ken Shamrock had just begun) and he no longer has cardio issues.... add to that, he is 253lbs of pure muscle..... K1 level striking, with wins over Badr Hari and Peter Aerts, and a robbery vs Remy Bonjasky.... and ADCC level grappling, at 6'5".... he is the total package, and he is the near future of the HW division.

& yeah man, I can't stand the typical noob like premature hatred Alistair receives over on Sherdog. if he was tearing ass in the UFC they'd fucking jizz everywhere at tthe mere mention of his name. so sad that being anchored by the UFC automattically deems you better than anyone & everyone that's not, according to these newb uneducated fugazi fanboys.


anyways, I like the fact that in this vid we get to view Alistair outside of fight mode which is ridiculously rare, & also seeing him commend others. he's not a harsh cocky asshole, & really is a likable guy. Fedor is none of my all time faves but I would have no problem if Alistair actually beat him, if this fight were to happen of course. I would be torn to see two of my fav HWs fighting, but it's destined to happen.


truly though, I'd rather much see Alistair murder Brock.

Great documentary. Not a big AO fan, but the I am rooting for him against Werdum. The final result will be AO against Fedor. I have been wanting to see that fight for years.
