TOP OF THAILAND Documentary - Anuwat, Saenchai and Yodsenklai

How much money do Anuwat and Saenchai make per fight? I'd imagine they'd be able to live decently.

they don't make shit compared to what they really can make. a lot goes to the camp and family. however, they're starting to realize their popularity and taking advantage by fighting overseas a lot more.

Where's Buakaw??

believe it or not...there's a whole line up guys in Thailand before buakaw even gets on this list.

while this may be true, why dont these guys fight in max? thats where the real money is. But then they dont have elbow or clinch so it sort of takes away the mauy thai factor

easier said than done...k1 is japanese run where they are very picky on who they'll allow into their org. they really weren't expecting buakaw to do so well but when he did of course the rules changed regarding clinch and knees which he basically tore everyone apart with. anyway, the other issue is weight...although that's bs b/c there are plenty of guys bigger than buakaw who will have an easier time making weight in k1. guys like saiyok, kem, sudsakorn, and yodsanklai literally scare them too much and they won't allow them to take the spotlight off their jap. stars...which is understandable i guess. remember what happened years ago when they let yod fight in k1? they shit their pants. in any case, they announced pajonsuk fighting in k1 which is cool but he is way out his prime already. i wish they would give more fresh nakmuays a chance b/c it's the main answer you'll get from any thai fighter...they want to fight in k1 b/c that's where the money is.

i agree completly with how the japs score the fights, buakaw has been robbed alot, but then alot of foreign fighters get robbed in holland as well.
They have the new 63kg division so hopefully alot of the lighter guys can now fight in k1 without giving up huge weight advantages

Too bad Saenchai is too small for K-1 max, he would fucking murder all of those guys if they were the same size.

sorry to bump such an old thread, but these documentary's are amazing. Saenchai is an absolute beast.
