Dan Rafael said that Haye could end up facing Vitali because the contract says either one, like the Adamek fight. This is so if Wlad is still injured then Vitali steps in.

Man I hope Vitali ends up facing Haye, it'll be a fuckin MURDER

WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (25-1, 23 KO’s) and IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (55-3, 49 KO’s) have reportedly signed the contract for a unification bout that will either take place on June 25th or July 2nd at a still to be determined venue. The fight will likely end up in Germany at one of three large soccer stadiums.

Although Wladimir signed the contract to fight Haye, it might come down to Vitali Klitschko, Wladimir’s brother, who ends up facing Haye in the end if Wladimir’s abdominal injury fails to heal by the time the fight takes place. Wladimir remains optimistic that his injury will be healed by then and says he plans on starting his training for the fight in two weeks. Wladimir has twice had to cancel fights with unbeaten British heavyweight Dereck Chisora because of the same abdominal injury.

This is the last year that the 30-year-old Haye plans on fighting, and he wants to try and battle both Klitschko brothers before he hangs up his gloves. However, to get to Vitali, Haye will have to beat Wladimir, because the opportunity will be gone for Haye if he gets beaten in his upcoming bout with the 6’6″ Ukrainian. Haye feels confident he’ll win, but he’s going to be facing his first real test at heavyweight after fighting a string of heavyweights in their late 30s.
