I see Cotto taking this without a tremendous amount of difficulty. I like Mayorga though, he's a great character. Him knocking out Vernon Forrest (RIP) was one of the most memorable moments in boxing for me. Cotto is a much better boxer though and should win imo. Unless Mayorga manages to break him down with power and pressure (ala Magacheeto).

Mayorga looks to be in good shape for this. At least he's seemingly giving himself his best chance to win.

I repeat, I see Cotto boxing the shit out of Mayorga, but Mayorga does pack a lot of power and he throws punches from all angles. Vernon Forrest was a craftier boxer than Cotto and Mayorga KO'd and decisioned him, and I thought he had a strong argument for deserving the nod against Spinx as well, another crafty boxer. Cotto is a completely different type of fighter, I'm just saying Mayorga knows how to put guys on their back foot. I still see Cotto taking it to him though.
