Neither Nash or Punk's lines were scripted that Raw. Nash is just terrible on the mic when he actually has to go toe to toe with someone unscripted. I can't blame him too much for failing, though. Short of Jericho , Austin, HHH, or Rock, no one would be able to be successful against Punk in an unscripted promo.

All the US based sources I've seen have said it was unscripted.

Umm... yes, Jericho spouts off the same shit in the same over-the-top manner every time and it's hardly ever improvised. The only time he changed his routine was for his latest "Best in the World" gimmick and that was boring as fuck.

HHH... well, all you have to look at is Punk constantly owning him in their back-and-forths to see that he shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as him when it comes to cutting promos. The Rock would absolutely destroy HHH on the mic as well, as would Austin.

Fact : The majority of what made Jericho was indeed improvised. I'd say he improvised in his promos more than he didn't.

And on the mic he was always mediocre. His 20 minute rambles and burying of over babyfaces who didn't have the chance to reply is what first started the real big downfall in ratings and pay-per-view buys for WWE, and they haven't been able to recover since.

Who did HHH bury outside of Booker T? Everyone he's ever had a feud with has come out more popular going out than they did going in.

RVD, who was BY FAR the most over babyface in the company from 2002-2003 until HHH buried him. The original plan was to make RVD the champion of Raw with the IC Title, but HHH stuck his big nose where it didn't belong and pretty much made himself the World Champion, and then beat RVD at the Unforgiven pay-per-view.

However, instead of asking the question who did HHH bury... ask yourself this, after ten years of being on top, who in the World did he ever make? There is one name only, and that is Batista. That's pathetic. John Cena has helped make more legitimate main eventers in 6 years on top than HHH did in his entire career.

Triple H pretty much takes much credit for burying Goldberg and Steiner. NOT SAYING THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN OVER, NOT SAY THAT. Just saying he did indeed make them feuds rather uninteresting then it should have been. He could have helped them out, but instead decided to cut their programs to a screeching halt, respectively.

It's pretty much universal that he buried Orton, when Orton first won the title from Benoit. Even wrestlers/workers were saying how blatantly selfish that was. He was also very much against RVDs very shot run as dual ECW and WWE Champion, in June of 2006, when RVD and Sabu got busted with weed later that summer, it was a done deal for RVD.

I'm a believer that booking buries the wrestlers, not the workers. The conflict of interest of course is that Triple H for a long time has had considerable pull amongst people with great authority. I would still say other then Orton and Booker, he didn't bury anyone, booking did.

Same with Cena, Cena hasn't buried a single wrestler. Booking has. Cena was burying Miz, that 160 days Miz carried that WWE Championship.... wait, he wasn't, even layed down for him at WM -- Why? Cause it's what the booker wanted. Bookings has that power, very few wrestlers, especially now have that kind of connections, who are active performers at least.

I agree with you to an extent DieOff, but with HHH, when he's married to the head writer of the company (she's not just the bosses daughter, but a huge part of the creative team), then it makes it easier to bring HHH into suspicion when it comes to how he's booked, whereas with someone like 'Taker you can make the argument that it's WWE's booking team who simply just won't let the guy put someone over.

Anyways, if Punk loses cleanly to HHH at NOC, I am going to be pissed. It will just go to show what a hypocrite and piece of shit HHH is for him, a non-active wrestler, to beat the hottest commodity currently in the business.

Burying means that you push them to the undercard and out of the spotlight. HHH has propelled Orton, Sheamus, Batista, and others. Did he beat them? Sure. But did they come out of it better than they went in? Yes.

This is untrue. After his first feud with HHH, Orton went to Smackdown and was put in the mid-card until working his way up to 'Taker.

Same for Sheamus. After his feud with HHH, he went on to feud with and lose to the likes Evan fucking Bourne.

Like I said, the ONLY person you can ever claim HHH "propelled" into the main event is Batista. That's it.

Yeah well, with ratings and pay-per-view buys consistently decreasing under HHH's reign, you cannot make a statement like that while trying to defend his run from 2002-2005. It was 3 years of torture as a Raw fan as far as I'm concered, lol. Thank God Smackdown was awesome during Heyman's reign, but of course... that changed when Mrs. HHH got the book.

Also, in 2001-2002 RVD wasn't a potential star... he was BY FAR the most over babyface in the entire company. It was retarded not to give him a shot to run with the belt, but alas... HHH wouldn't have it.
