It's Showtime HW Tournament 2011

Also announced were details on the It's Showtime Heavyweight Tournament. This inaugural tournament will take place next year, with a round of 16 on March 6 and the final 8 taking place at their yearly Amsterdam Arena show in May. The first 4 participants were announced: Melvin Manhoef, Daniel Ghita, Gokhan Saki, and Tyrone Spong. This is the exact kind of all-action line-up I would expect from It's Showtime, and it's a good start, as I would be happy to see any combination of these 4 men against each other. More names could come as the week continues.

So Saki and Ghita will fight twice. Nice. Go SAKI!!!. I really wanted to see Melvin win. But the only chance he has is a punchers chance during the first few seconds of the first round. Ghita will chop him down and Saki will KO him again and Spong is also to technical for him as well. Action packed tournament. Can't wait.

They are not more technical,faster or more explosive than manhoef.I believe its the size and the reach difference that comes into play.

Saki is significantly better the Melvin and so is Spong. The rest you may have a point, but those two and Saki especially. He is above everyone when it technique.

I still believe that id Saki was shorter Manhoef would have done better against him.But as far as comparison...yes Saki is better
