The k-1 final was a significantly better show.

the card was solid, 61+70kg title fights, gago drago, chahid, thomas hron-alexey ignashov and pajonsuk super pro samui vs andy souwer.

though it wasnt a bad show no finishes is always a damper.

i think the most significant thing was Andy Souwer beating Pajonsuk, both should have been in the max tourney this year and should be in next year. Plus i was happy for Souwer after the Imada loss but im a big fan of both.

sad to see Ignashov lose again he is and will always be one of my favourite fighters. (straight after he lost they showed an ad for a july 2010 show in Russia where he is the main event for the belt against Hesdy, which i assume will now be cancelled)

I'm going to have to blame it on the It's Showtime rules. Their decision ratio is much, MUCH higher than recent K-1 events. Haven't watched this particular one yet but I'm sure it'll be on TV soon so I'll watch it there

I dug it and I especially like this sergio wielzen guy, i never knew he beat anuwat.

And the biggest thing that stood out for me was pajonsuk clinching too much. IMO if he hadn't lost that point in the 3rd round it would have gone to a 4th.

*edit* oh cant forget drago losing again, this time its kind of forgivable because this kayabasi kid looks amazing.
