Remy Bonjaskys new career

Well, new career might be a stretch, but much like when former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Chuck Liddell was on "Dancing with the Stars" in America, Remy Bonjasky, the Flying Gentleman will participate in "Stars Dancing on Ice" in the Netherlands, on SBS6. It is a bit lower impact than what Bonjasky is used to, but one can be assured that Bonjasky keeping himself as such a public figure is a good thing. If you heard the rumors a few weeks ago about something involving Remy and Ice Skating, yeah, this is it.

Bonjasky makes his glorious, ice skating debut on January 28th and I assure you, as long as there is footage available on the internet, LiverKick.com will hunt it down like a rabid dog so we can all bask in the glory that is a 3-time K-1 World Grand Prix Champion in tights figure skating on Dutch national television. If you still aren't buying it, well, there is video footage. Don't expect any flying kicks any time soon.

i dont know, i thought he might have been thinking about it, cause there was another article on him the other day about his legacy and that some people might not want him to remember him as one of the greatest.

I mean i had no idea remy got so much slack, im just starting right now to see alll of the hate surrounding him and i really dont get it, the guy is amazing to watch.

i mean the guy has what abut 50 ko's in the ring, what more could you want from him

he has a severe eye injury. if he keeps fighting, there's a decent chance he'll go blind in one eye. there was talks of him maybe making this year his last WGP, but he chose not to compete. it sucks, but things happen. at least Remy made a smart health decision and let's just hope he doesn't decapitate anyone with his ice skates.

Remy has been retired because of a detached retina! He will go blind if he fights too much! Although he said if his eyes allowed he would like to fight Badr one more time.

Yeah, detached retina, this was his fourth surgery on his eye to fix it, which means it happened three times before. His doctors have urged him not to fight again as that could easily happen again, and if it does, he will not be able to regain his vision in that eye.

He hasn't officially announced his retirement yet, he still wants to have a fight or two, but it isn't clear if it'll be in K-1 or It's Showtime. Seeing as though his other gig is a backstage reporter on-air for It's Showtime.......

not a fan, i lost alot of respect after he just laid there after hair jumped him, he barely got touched and he knew all he had to do was not continue and he would win the crown( hari was still a cunt but remy wasnt hurt)........even Alister gave him an award for acting

i wont deny he won 4 GP's and was good years ago

however his fights are do dull I cant be arsed watching...that and I dont like him. he doesnt come to fight and is far too defensive

I still dont like Remy personally and his recent fights I don't care to see again. He was decent in the past and had some sick knockouts. I enjoyed seeing semy and badr hari kill him
