Saki and Ghita

Just wondering what everybody thought about this : Obviously Golden Glory knew Saki's arm was broken after the Ghita fight but he still fought in the next round. There's no way he would have made it in the final round after fighting twice before with that kind of damage incurred. And if the pain was so bad that it caused him to stop a fight, then why did he fight in the first place? Wouldn't the more admirable thing have been to let Ghita (who in my oppinion won) come back as an alternate? I love the Rebel, but I think an able bodied fighter should have continued the tourney. How interesting would Ghita and Overeem have been?.

Saki is a warrior, I don't think hed give up until it's pretty serious. I don't know if it was broken in the Overeem fight or before, but he fought til he couldn't, and that is why he is a warrior. Surprised your still thinking about this so far from the GP. Give it a rest, and never doubt Sakis heart!

I didn't doubt his heart. He's a little buzzsaw and I love to watch him fight but obviously he quit, so the damage must have been VERY bad!

BTW Ghita was retarded to put his hands down and let Hedsy punch him, it lost him points in that fight. He didn't get robbed either. I aint a fan of neither, but I can tell Ghita did not do enough to win that fight, In the first two rounds Hedsy was landed punches at will, like it was no fucking thing.

Badr is one of my idols like Saki is, his spinning back kick on Leko is my favorite spinning back kick in any combat sport. Just fucking amazing.
Don't get me wrong Overeem is the shit as a person, but he has holes in his stand up game. He still has allot of work to do on it. Ghita hasn't had a very good last 2 years, he beat Sergei and Zimmerman, but couldn't cut it when it came to the big fights. Choked, was bested by better fighters. I actually figured Hedsy would win, he doesn't seem like a push over.

Ghita would not be put in against the Reem anyways. The reserve fighter would have.

Shit, that's right! Hopefully Teixeira would have lasted longer than his first fight with the Reem.

Oh and Ghita did get robbed. It would have been an extension round if he didn't get counted for the nut shot.

they would have put Ewerton in cos he won the reserve match and Ghita did get robbed he won round 1 and 3 imo but you can call 1 a draw so there should have been a extension round.

I personally think a healthy Ghita beats Saki 8 times out of 10.

Saki was in beast mode due to being pissed at Zimmermans KO loss. I don't think he could have been stopped by any Ghita at that point.
