Tyson wasnt in his prime when he lost to Douglas imo. Ali was undefeated in his prime though.

lennox lewis was a fantastic fighter, but fletch would try and convince you that justin bieber was the greatest singer of all time if he was british.

Tyson would beat Ali.

Its a terrible match up for Ali. Too much speed, too much intensity matched with actual skill and agression.

This wasnt some bigger, slower, slugger. It was a more compact, qucker, skilled killing machine with the Foreman like KO power.

Tyson would have killed Ali if both met in their primes IMO.

ali had a p4p chin, insane stamina, was lightning fast himself, and his defense was ridiculous. at 6'3" i could see him wearing tyson down with his jab, and finishing him off in the later rounds, if he didnt get caught big.

does this show that boxing hasnt really evolved that much?

i mean if u said this about royce vs fedor there wouldnt even be a disscussion.

I guess theres only so much to learn in boxing before it comes down to power , stamina and technique

Boxing has been around for over a hundred years. Obviously it will show less evolution than MMA whic has been around for 10 years.

Prime Tyson isnt a guy you could be worn down by a jab. Maybe the old, undedicated Tyson who was world champ @ 19 years old.

Im quite sure that Tyson would do Ali like Hari did Schilt the first time. Only more efficiently.

look Mike was Fast and was a Infighter he only had a reach of 71 and he was Barley 5,11 Ali was 6,3 80 Reach now mike tyson admited that he has a breathing condition so the longer the fight goes on the harder it is for tyson to win, now when you look at Ali's fights he would never allow tyson to get close to hit him in the head, heck he did not let sonny liston with a 84 reach touch him.

now look at how Ali lost. he lost 5 Fights in total
4 by Decision and 1 by TKO to larry homies R10 in a 15 Round bout.
(3 of this loses were past ali's prime)
now the Chances of Mike to Beat ali in a Decision is Highly Unlikely
and for Mike to have anuff energy to beat ali in the later rounds? no way

mikes only hope is to TKO/KO Ali in the first 4 rounds and for that to happen he has to catch Ali look at the first liston/ali fight liston was running around trying to get ali and could not catch him.

and plus add Ali's Great chin its really hard to end him in the first 4/5 Rounds
