And a Krav Maga chief/expert.

Think he's more competitive opponent that the Italian.
What do you think? Looking forward to the fight now, supporting Nakash on Saturday.

He has heavy hands.

April 5th:

- The Huck/Nakash fight scored 4,5mil. viewers (18% marketshare) on saturday.
These numbers are considered a big success and a good foundation to bring Huck to the numbers of Sturm& Abraham.

The Helenius/Peter bout still had 2,55mil. viewers with a 15% marketshare.

On the sport side, the fight was a great slugfest, but Huck really didn't look good against an unknown replacement.
Uli Wegener still has some major work to do with him.

-It looks like Felix Sturm will finally fight a good opponent.
A fight vs. Matthew Macklin is in store for June 25th in cologne

Huck/Nakash was at least an entertaining fight, compared to a lot of other fights on German TV.

April 21st:

-Wlad vs. Haye official for july 2nd in Hamburg

-Scheduling Problems:
Sturm's next defense was planned against Matthew Macklin on July 2nd in Cologne.
With the Klitschko/Haye bout now scheduled for the same day there is absolutely 0 chance that Sat1/Sturm goes against the RTL/Klitschko ratings powerhouse

-The Stieglitz/Gevor fight got 3.26mil viwers
Stieglitz' best ratings yet

May 18th:

Bad few weeks for German Boxing.

-Sylvester loses his title to Geale

-Abraham fails to surprise against Ward

-Brähmer bows out of the Cleverly fight

Sauerland &ARD are running out of Champs.
They're now trying to build Robert Helenius with his first Main Event on German TV in late June

Such a damn shame, as Abraham looked awesome in the early rounds before he wore himself out.

I just hope he decides to go back to Middleweight for his sake.

Word on the street in Berlin is, that Arthur is saturated.
He has no intensity in his preparations&in the Ring anymore.

Just compare his first Miranda fight with the Froch or Ward fights.

Here's what i think will happen:
-Arthur takes the Rest of the year off (at least until December)
-He doesn't go back down to MW
-Sauerland goes for a soft Champ at SMW, which would be Stieglitz (WBO champ) or Sartison in 2012.
Stieglitz could be a Problem because he has TV backing, therefore doesn't need to take big risk fights.

June 7th:

-Universum Promotions is now without a World Champ after Zbik was robbed against Chavez jr.
This decreases their Chance for a new TV contract even more.

-Marco Huck will defend his Title against Hugo Hernan Garay on July 16th.

-Karo Murat will take on Gabriel Campillo in a Title Eliminator for Tavoris Cloud

June 8th:

-New Sauerland-ARD deal about to blow up.
Sauerland is in Danger of losing their new TV contract (54mil from 2013-2015) with Channel ARD.

The Deal has to be approved by the commission of the 4 biggest local ARD affiliates SWR (Baden-Württemberg),WDR (North Rhine-Westphalia), MDR (Saxonia,Saxonia-Anhalt,Thuringia) & NDR (Schleswig-Holstein,Hamburg,Bremen,Lower Saxony,Mecklenburg-West Pommerania).

MDR approved it
WDR against it.
SWR votes on June 10th and is likely against it.

Coupled with the bad performances of their fighters (Abraham,Sylvester lost his title) Sauerland could lose their TV contract from 2013 on or at least make significantly less money

-The Klitschko's extended their contract with RTL for another 5 fights.
No surprise by the monster numbers they pull

June 16th:

-Looks like Sauerland will get a deal with ARD done, but for less money.
They've gone from a 3year 54mil. deal (18mil./year) to 2 year 26mil. (13mil./year).
The new contract still has to be approved, but it looks like it will go through.

-Sebastian Sylvester will be part of a 4 man Box-off at MW.
He will fight Sam Soliman in the semis while Roman Karmazin fights Osumanu Adama.
The Tourney winner gets a shot at IBF Champ Daniel Geale

-Robert Stieglitz will make his mandatory defense against Mikkel Kessler

Was a quick post from the office this afternoon (busy day) ..
It's because a commercial Dutch station is broadcasting it too for the first time next week. RTL has commercials inbetween rounds, right? Really hate that.

What's your scoring on the Sturm-Macklin fight? I had it 115-113 for Sturm. He deserved the win, but it was really close.
